You already know this, Cindy, but I felt like blogging anyway!
I got a $.60 raise effective last friday! As Rosemary put it, she's forcing me to take a raise! I'm not arguing! She said that is in addition to whatever raise I would be getting on July 1st (the normal raise review time), but that will probably be only $.17. However, if it is that much in addition to the current raise, I'll be very happy!! Well, okay, I kinda already am very happy!
They are probably going to promote jessica to pricing so that jen will stay the team lead in PO, which should be fun since we have to hire two new people in PO....yikes! Jess asked if I knew what was happening and I said no, because Rosemary mentioned maybe Jess, but not as a definite. When she told me she said she figured that I was pulled into a meeting to see if I could work with her! I said no, it was more to see if I could work with Bethany, lol! Which is true, she did ask if I thought I could work with her and I said yes, that should be fine. Bethany told me not to worry, she won't freak out and start bossing me around or anything, I said I know, I won't let you. she laughed and said good, but she felt bad for the new pricing person because they probably will! whatev.

Hi five's and stuff. So wait. Are you going to be working with Jessica or Bethany? Either way, your getting paid more. $4.80 a day more. That's $144.00 more a month. You can afford a car payment with that, can't you?
not really, after taxes, that's like $96 a month, what kind of car can i get for $100 a month? and don't forget i don't have anyone to cosign for me
That's true, but if you save up that $96 per month as if you never got a raise, after a year, that'll be over $1000.00. You can buy a used car for that. A decent one. I can help you out a bit if you want.
