2004 - The Year In Review
1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Got drunk, slept with a boy, fell in love, got a piercing not in my ear, voted against the president, got drunk over the result of voting, got a cell phone, started working in a floral area and had (will have) a sex toy party
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't make them, I see no point.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no
4. Did anyone close to you die? no
5. What countries did you visit?
Just the grand old U.S. of A.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? My own place and a car
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? October 5th, that was the day I found out that while I was not good enough to live at my aunt's anymore, my brother was
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Sadly, I don't think I have done anything worthwhile this year...I really need to get back to school
9. What was your biggest failure?
Well, it wasn't my personal failure, but Bush winning the election. I felt like the whole country failed that one.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? no
11. What was the best thing you bought? If i get it before the end of the year it will be the they might be giants 20 year anniversary cd
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Kelly's, she's become so much of a better person this year, she is starting to really know who she is and I think that's a really good thing for her
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Anyone who supported the Federal Marriage Amendment, also my family, not that it matters anymore because I have been exiled from them.
14. Where did most of your money go? The student loan I'm paying off because I can't afford school, an insurance payment from my accident when I didn't have insurance, my credit card bill, and my cell phone
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? I don't really want to say, but a few of you know.
16. What song will always remind you of 2004? Any song from Flood, a they might be giants cd, while it wasn't new this year, it was definitely the soundtrack for it.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? A little sadder, honestly
ii. thinner or fatter? a little thinner
iii. richer or poorer? poorer, but that will (hopefully) change soon
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Working
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Being upset when people turned out not to be who I thought they were, that happened a lot this year with some really close friends.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? I honestly have no idea and really it doesnt matter all that much
21. Did you fall in love in 2004? Yes.
23. How many one-night stands?
None. I've never had a ONS.
24. Your favorite TV program.
Family Guy, the Daily Show, Drawn Together
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Nope
26. What was the best book you read?
"Wake Up, You're Liberal!" by Ted Rall
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Frou Frou, the Shins, the Postal Service
28. What did you want and get? a group of people that I can truly call family and know that it means what family is supposed to mean, it has become a mix of people who are and aren't related to me
29. What was your favorite film of this year? Spongebob was great, but Anchorman was close
31. What did you do on your birthday? I worked. My mom got me a fruit plate instead of a cake and I remember thinking, wow, maybe she is trying to be the mom she's supposed to be...we know how that turned out
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
President John Kerry.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? I'm becoming a little more girlie, but basically, jeans and T's are still my thing
34. What kept you sane? Danny, Mom, Jennifer, Missa, and Kelly, without them, I don't know that this year would have been very good at all. Also TMLMTBGB, cuz no matter how you feel, you go there and everything's better
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? While I'm not big on celebrities, I have to say that Johnny Depp was really hot, but he always is...also Spongebob, I'm sorry, but I have a thing for him, OK?
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The damn Federal Marriage Amendment. People are so disgustingly hateful.
37. Who did you miss? I missed Cindy and some of the Dominican people, also this year I've really started to miss some of my grammar school teachers
38. Who was the best new person you met? Probably Tammy, don't take that to heart, though babe, I think you may be the only new person I met this year
